Deonna Dolac Performed in "The Importance of Being Earnest" at Buffalo State

2015 Apr 2

Deonna Dolac of West Seneca, New York, performed in Buffalo State's recent production of the classic play, The Importance of Being Earnest, by Oscar Wilde. Dolac is majoring in theater.

The performance was held in the Warren Enters Theatre at the college in March. Donn Youngstrom, associate professor in the Theater Department, directed the performance. It was produced by the student-run theater organization, Casting Hall. "All the actors met the challenge of pulling off a very verbal comedy," said Youngstrom.

Buffalo State's theater program offers concentrations in acting, directing/dramaturgy, design/technical theater, and general study as well as minors in theater and dance. Buffalo State, part of the State University of New York (SUNY) system, is located in the museum district of Buffalo, New York, near art galleries, parks, museums, and shops.
