Devan Brady of Buffalo, NY Helped Create TV Pilot

2015 Dec 10

Devan Brady of Buffalo, NY was one of 14 seniors in the Television and Film Arts (TFA) program at Buffalo State who wrote, produced, and directed an original half-hour TV pilot, Cappuccino Jones. To make sure the production experience mirrored the real TV marketplace, students applied for specific television production jobs such as writer and producer. This was also the first TFA project that was approved by the national Screen Actors Guild, so the students had the opportunity to cast professional actors.

Students who graduate from the TFA program at Buffalo State are prepared to pursue positions in the entertainment industry as screenwriters, producers, directors, agents, and managers.

Buffalo State, part of the State University of New York, offers degrees in the arts, education, professional studies, and science; a diverse and creative environment; hands-on learning; affordable SUNY tuition; and an exciting location near Buffalo's cultural corridor.
