Julia Brennen Participated in Student Art Sale

2016 Jan 18

Julia Brennen created items that were available for sale in the 19th Annual Student Art Sale at Buffalo State in December 2015. The sale is a popular event for the campus community because of the unique and beautiful jewelry, pottery, scarves, paintings, photos, prints, and sculptures available just in time for the holiday season.

The work was reviewed by Buffalo State faculty members before the sale. Students keep 75 percent of their sales; the remainder defrays the cost of next year's sale and supports the students' departments and programs. More than 900 works were available.

Buffalo State has a long history of excellence in its art programs. Today, the college offers majors in art, art education, art history, ceramics, fibers, metals/jewelry, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, and wood/furniture.

Buffalo State, part of the State University of New York, offers degrees in the arts, education, professional studies, and science; a diverse and creative environment; hands-on learning; affordable SUNY tuition; and a vibrant location in the heart of Buffalo's cultural corridor.
