Katelyn Warden of Buffalo, NY was among a group of Buffalo State education majors who traveled to Cabarete, Dominican Republic in January 2015. Warden took an intensive Spanish language course at the Cabarete Language Institute, and worked with students and parents at 3 Mariposas Montessori, a school that is a member of Buffalo State's International Professional Development Schools consortium. Buffalo State students who plan to become teachers have many opportunities to travel around the world to learn more about education systems and teaching practices in other countries.
