2018 Mar 20

Madeline Allard of Corning, New York was among the Buffalo State students who took part in the college's first-ever dance program that was choreographed as well as performed by students.

"Movers and Shakers: Dance as Activism" featured dancers performing pieces with titles such as "Persisters," "Loss of Life: Sunrise to Sunset," "She," "The Choice," "Morbidly Normal," "Divergence," and "Common Ground." The goal of the student choreographers and dancers was to blend dance with thoughts of social change to inspire the audience.

Buffalo State offers 79 high-quality undergraduate programs with 11 honors options in the arts, sciences, professions, and education. The college is an urban-engaged campus that provides students with many applied learning opportunities and conveniently located internships.
