Madeline Allard Performs in Musical at Buffalo State

Madeline Allard of Corning, New York performed in Buffalo State's fall 2015 production of the classic musical comedy, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. Allard is majoring in Television and Film arts.

The performance was held in the Warren Enters Theatre at the college in October 2015. Donn Youngstrom, associate professor in the Theater Department, directed the performance; dance direction was provided by Carlos Jones, associate dean of Arts and Humanities. The popular musical was produced by the student-run theater organization, Casting Hall.

Buffalo State's theater program offers concentrations in acting, directing/dramaturgy, design/technical theater, and general study as well as minors in theater and dance. Buffalo State, part of the State University of New York (SUNY) system, is located in the museum district of Buffalo, New York, near art galleries, parks, museums, and shops.
