Mohamed Koanda Recognized at EOP Honors Convocation at Buffalo State

Mohamed Koanda of Bronx, NY was recognized at Buffalo State's annual Arthur O. Eve Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) Honors Convocation on May 5. Koanda was among the students who achieved a 3.0 GPA during the spring or fall 2016 semester, or who has a a cumulative 3.0 GPA.

The EOP program started at Buffalo State in 1967. The program offers an alternative means of acceptance to Buffalo State for students who show ability and motivation in the face of economic and academic challenges.

Buffalo State, part of the State University of New York system, offers offer more than 160 undergraduate programs in the arts, education, professional studies, and science.
