Patrick Krebs Performs with the Buffalo State Wind Ensemble at Kleinhans Music Hall

Patrick Krebs, of Lockport, NY, performed as part of the Buffalo State Wind Ensemble at Kleinhans Music Hall in mid-November. Kleinhans is home to the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra. The Wind Ensemble accompanied a percussion concerto featuring three of Western New York's lead percussionists.

Krebs, a graduate of Lockport High School, played the trombone in the performance under the direction of Rick Fleming, associate professor of music. The junior music major has been part of the Wind Ensemble for five semesters.

The concert at Kleinhans is part of Buffalo State's Year of the Arts--an eclectic schedule of visual and performing arts events. Buffalo State offers 166 undergraduate programs and 62 graduate programs, including the largest and most comprehensive visual arts program in SUNY.
