Samuel Merriman in Cast of 'Night of the Iguana' at Buffalo State

Samuel Merriman of East Aurora, NY was in the cast of Night of the Iguana at Buffalo State as Herr Fahrenkopf. Merriman is a theater major at Buffalo State and a graduate of Canisius High School. This was Merriman's first production at Buffalo State.

Night of the Iguana, written by Tennessee Williams, is set in a cheap resort hotel in Mexico. The story revolves around a group of damaged, mismatched people who are forced together by a storm. The play is directed by Donn Youngstrom, associate professor and chair of the theater department. This was the second of four productions that will be put on the by Theater Department this year.

Performances were held in the Warren Enters Theatre in Upton Hall on November 7-9 and November 14-16.
