Stephanie Hanson Recognized at Buffalo State Honors Convocation

Stephanie Hanson of Arcade, NY was among a select group of Buffalo State students whose academic achievements were recognized at the college's annual Honors Convocation held on April 21, 2016. Hanson is majoring in earth sciences.

The Honors Convocation recognizes the undergraduate students who have completed at least 45 credit hours (30 credit hours for transfer students) at Buffalo State and achieved at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA.

SUNY Buffalo State, founded in 1871, offers 165 undergraduate majors in the arts, sciences, professions, and education. More than 9,000 undergraduates have chosen Buffalo State for its academic programs, applied learning opportunities, and affordable tuition.
