Ted Mallwitz Helps Create History Kits for the Historical Society

Ted Mallwitz of Buffalo, NY is learning about American culture and identity through his American Identity in Transition course at Buffalo State. Mallwitz is a social studies education teacher certification major at Buffalo State. He is a graduate of City Honors School.

Mallwitz is helping to create a history kit for teachers to borrow from the Buffalo and Erie County Historical Society, which will provide teaching materials about the refugee experience. He is also helping to create a website about the diverse cultural restaurants found in Western New York.

The project is part of the Year of the City at Buffalo State.
